Life At Hidden Treasure

To Begin…

If you love being able to see the sun rise in the east and set in the west, Hidden Treasure offers a front row seat with panoramic views in every direction.  If you want the serenity that comes with country living and all the amenities a city has to offer, we’re only 10 minutes from town.

The Week…

At Hidden Treasure, we sit down to meals and share whatever is in our hearts and minds.  Whether it’s the news, the weather, a movie, everything has the potential to stir the memory banks.  Once upon a time has evolved to I remember when…  we enjoy our shared experiences.  Card and table games warm hearts, bring out the chuckles and stimulate brain cells.  Jokes that tickle the funny bone are a must.  We have a great selection of books, and a wide variety of magazine subscriptions to stimulate our residents.  Seven days a week, we gather in our living rooms for our fitness program, “Sit and Be Fit”.

And That’s Not All…

On Thursday mornings, Lowell Bartells offers a non-denominational church service, with sing-a-longs of traditional hymns.  We reflect, offer prayers and healing to ourselves, each other and our precious world.  Spring, summer, and fall, weather permitting, we board our bus to participate in community events in Helena and East Helena.  Sometimes we just go sightseeing (we’re 15 minutes from Canyon Ferry Lake).  In December, we tour neighborhoods famous for their Christmas spirit and we gather at the Civic Center for Helena’s annual Festival of Trees.  Weather permitting, any time of the year, our residents are free to enjoy our 12+ acres for exercise, to enjoy the landscape, to take in the views, and admire the many wild birds that visit our feeders.

Every month we celebrate staff and resident birthdays.  Holidays are always special events, and we invite friends and family to join us.

It doesn’t take too long at all to feel at home at Hidden Treasure because everyone reaches out with their hearts and, as you know…  home is where the heart is.
